As Audeze’s second iteration of their flagship electrostatic headphones you get the bass slam akin to a planar magnetic, with upper mids and treble of a traditional electrostatic headphone.

CRBN2 is now comparable to Stax SR-X9000. SR-X9000 still has a wider sound stage and a slight edge in detail/imaging, but CRBN2 gives you warmer lower mids and a thicker bass response.
